During its almost 10-year history, the Eco Safety Research Center has become a successful project of a private research center that is constantly ranked among the TOP5 research centers in Russia.
In 2021, a separate division of QBIOLAB chemical-analytical laboratory was formed on the basis of SIC Eco-Safety Ltd. Becoming a stand-alone laboratory was a real challenge for the formation of an appropriate quality management system. Nevertheless, by 2023, QBIOLAB is already demonstrating impressive results of its performance, as follows
– more than 100 techniques of various international non-proprietary names have been delivered and validated,
– more than 20 completed projects,
– more than 50,000 biosample studies.
It was the organization of work in accordance with ISO requirements that made it possible to set and implement the objectives.
On August 03 -04, 2023, an independent quality audit was initiated by Axel Farm LLC to confirm, among other things, the compliance of the laboratory activities with the established requirements of quality systems and GOST R ISO/IEC 17025-2019.
As part of the sponsor’s two-day visit, the auditors were provided with all of the laboratory’s internal documentation, from instructions and regulations to technical verifications for all equipment used. Also an integral part of any audit is the verification of the processes and procedures themselves, in this regard the “biosample journey” was demonstrated and discussed: from the moment of obtaining biological material to the writing of the final analytical report.
Undoubtedly, any audit has the purpose of improving internal processes and at the final meeting were voiced recommendations of respected colleagues from “Axel Farm” LLC for optimization and improvement of internal processes of the laboratory, which will form the basis for revision of existing QMS documents.
